“A Story of Smallpox: Detached from the Life you were born with...”: Recording of Live Painting is now available on YouTube!
Keio University Art Center held a live painting event by Daisuke Kagawa, a painter, in connection with at the exhibition, Introduction to Archives XXII “A Story of Smallpox: Detached from the Life you were born with...” .
This is a video recording of the event which was held in front of the wall of Keio University Art Space, on July 4 [Mon.] and 5 [Tue.], 2022.
This time, Kagawa finished painting the work which is titled “Hommage to Tatsumi Hijikata in Story of Smallpox” for 2 days.
Moreover, in the event, besides the live painting, he did a body painting for Dancers of Butoh and they got started to improvise the Butoh Performance.
The exhibition will be held until July 29 [Fri.], 2022.
